The basis for the head is a special type of Styrofoam, also used for coffee cups.
Air dry clay does not have to be baked, but the drying process can be speed up by drying it in an oven on appr. 70 degrees celcius.
The best thing for the polymer clay addicts is that this sculpting technique is suitable for air dry clay, and also for some types of polymer clay, like Fimo.
